Fjord fishing in Varanger

The Varangerfjord offers great experiences in the form of fishing, either from land or out in
boat. If you want to fish for saithe and cod from land, there are several places that are perfect for that. Swallow rod and stinging herring, preferably with shades of green. Or lures are all you need for some nice hours by the sea.

Out to sea?

If you want to go out by boat, we at Varangertunet can book tours for you. Our partners know the sea well and have given many of our guests a taste of live at sea. Then the catch usually consists of saithe, cod, catfish and in between also halibut. We know that the Varangerfjord hides some really large specimens of the species.
